Through this agreement, 360Energy will supply Danone Argentina with 34 GWh of renewable energy per year, generated by its Cañada Honda IV Solar Park and the 360E La Rioja Solar Complex. This clean energy will power Danone’s Longchamps plant, where iconic products from brands such as Ser, Yogurísimo, La Serenísima, Danonino, Silk, and Casancrem are produced.
By incorporating IRECs (International Renewable Energy Certificates), the company will cover up to 90% of its total energy consumption with renewable sources.

The Benefits of Renewable Energy
The environmental impact of this Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will be significant: Danone will avoid emitting 8,900 tons of CO₂e per year, which is equivalent to planting over 148,000 trees or powering almost 5,800 Argentine households annually.
In addition to the direct environmental impact, the contract includes the issuance of IRECs (International Renewable Energy Certificates), which guarantee the renewable origin of the energy used. These certificates are globally recognized tools that promote transparency and traceability in the adoption of clean energy.
Through both the PPA signed with 360Energy and the IRECs, Danone ensures that 90% of the energy used in all of its operations, including its plants in Longchamps (which produces yogurts, cheeses, and desserts) and Garín (which manufactures nutrition products under brands like Nutrilon4 and Vital4), as well as its administrative offices, distribution centers (La Serenísima logistics), and administrative office, will come from renewable sources.

Sustainability in Action
Danone is a BCorp company guided by a dual purpose: to provide health through food and beverages to as many people as possible, while caring for the planet. As such, the company implements a comprehensive and cross-cutting approach to sustainable management across its four business segments (dairy and plant-based foods, specialized nutrition, logistics, and pure/flavored water), with a commitment to making a positive impact socially, environmentally, and economically.
“This agreement with 360Energy is a decisive step toward our goal of achieving zero emissions by 2050, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in our operations. We continue to reduce our carbon footprint in Argentina while working towards a cleaner and more sustainable food industry,” stated Juan Garibaldi, CEO & Senior VP of Danone South Cone.
A Strategic Alliance
“We are deeply proud that Danone has trusted us as their first renewable energy partner in Argentina. This agreement reinforces our conviction that clean energy, particularly solar energy, is the path toward a sustainable future for the country’s industries,” emphasized Federico Sbarbi Osuna, CEO of 360Energy for Latin America.
With this alliance, 360Energy and Danone Argentina not only strengthen their commitment to the environment but also send a powerful message about the importance of integrating renewable energy into the national energy matrix. This pioneering agreement sets a new standard for the food industry and marks a crucial step toward a more sustainable future.
