CONSORCIO ALTO GUALTALLARY, a consortium of vineyards in Mendoza—through its administrators LGE GRUPO CONSULTOR—and 360Energy, a leader in solar energy generation in Argentina, announce the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a total of 3 GWh annually over the next 60 months. This milestone marks the first renewable energy contract signed by CONSORCIO ALTO GUALTALLARY, reaffirming the consortium's commitment to sustainability and the transition to clean energy sources.
Currently, the Alto Gualtallary Consortium consists of 40 plots on 2.5 hectares. The energy generated by 360E and acquired by LGE is the energy resource necessary for the operation of highly renowned wineries such as Zuccardi, Norton, Familia Millán, Riccitelli, and a hotel from the Marriott chain. The Consortium will use the energy to power a fundamental process: water extraction for irrigating the vineyards.
With this agreement, the Consortium covers 65% of its energy demand, taking a fundamental step in its carbon emission reduction strategy.

The contracted energy volume is equivalent to 1,350 tons of CO2e that will not be emitted into the atmosphere each year. In this way, it ensures that its wine production—recognized nationally and internationally—is carried out with a lower environmental impact.
Why CONSORCIO ALTO GUALTALLARY and LGE GRUPO CONSULTOR chose 360Energy
The renewable energy supply will primarily come from the La Rioja Solar Complex, operated by 360Energy. This complex integrates the La Rioja I, II, and III photovoltaic solar parks, recently put into operation. As a complementary source, energy generated by the Cañada Honda IV solar park will be utilized, located next to Cañada Honda I, the latter recognized for being the first large-scale solar park installed in Argentina when 360Energy inaugurated it in 2012.
LGE selected 360Energy as its first renewable energy provider thanks to its solid track record and market leadership. Through the Genren, RenovAr, and MATER programs, 360E is one of the most active companies in the photovoltaic solar sector. 360E has built and operates 12 of its own Solar Parks located in the provinces of San Juan, La Rioja, and Catamarca, and is currently in the construction phase of new solar parks in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.

360Energy's ability to offer customized solutions and ensure efficient supply management was another determining factor in the decision. "We selected 360Energy not only for its leadership in the industry but also for its understanding of our specific needs as a wine consortium. This agreement is the first step in a transformation that will boost our competitiveness and reduce our environmental footprint," said Ariel Embiglio, spokesperson for LGE, administrator of the Consortium.
Commitment to sustainability and the future
360Energy celebrates this agreement as evidence of the growing interest from the private sector in adopting renewable energy. "We are proud to be part of the path towards sustainability of the Alto Gualtallary Consortium, a great ongoing project that represents the best of the Argentine wine tradition. This agreement not only reinforces our market leadership but also reflects companies' confidence in our ability to deliver sustainable, reliable, and scalable energy solutions," stated Maximiliano Ivanissevich, Director of Corporate Affairs of the generator.
With this alliance, Consorcio Alto Gualtallary, LGE Grupo Consultor, and 360Energy demonstrate that the union between tradition and innovation can be a driver for change. These organizations commit to continuing to advance their sustainability goals and promoting a cleaner, more environmentally respectful future.
