360Energy Announces the Official Launch of Its Second Battery Storage System (BESS) at the Cañada Honda Solar Photovoltaic Park in San Juan Province, Becoming the ONLY RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPANY IN ARGENTINA with Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Operation and Connected to the National Interconnected System (SADI).

This achievement in the national energy market positions 360Energy as a pioneer in the implementation of energy storage technologies integrated into the Argentine electricity grid. The storage system launched by the company consists of two Huawei LUNA2000 modules, with a total capacity of 4MWh. These Huawei modules join a first Sungrow battery bank previously installed by 360Energy in 2022, bringing the total storage capacity to 6MWh.

The implementation of storage systems enables renewable energy generation plants, such as wind or solar, to "store" energy during peak generation times (which, in a solar park, typically occurs at midday) and dispatch it to the system during times when generation has decreased significantly, such as at sunset for solar parks. In this way, the introduction of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) optimizes the efficiency of solar parks, ensuring greater stability and reliability in the electricity supply. This technology is rapidly growing worldwide, and 360Energy has successfully implemented it, connected to the national interconnected grid.

360Energy’s Operations and Maintenance Manager, Daniel Centeno, highlighted:

"We are proud to put into operation our second large-scale energy storage system at the Cañada Honda solar park. This project represents a significant step forward in our commitment to technological innovation and allows us to continue exploring, together with other sector players, the potential of BESS systems connected to the SADI. At 360Energy, we believe in the future of clean energy and work daily to actively contribute to that transformation."
