360Energy and Stellantis Argentina announce the commissioning of the solar park at the Córdoba Industrial Hub, a key project within the energy strategy both companies are advancing in the country.
The solar park has an installed capacity of 8 MW and uses state-of-the-art bifacial panels and tracker technology (solar tracking systems). The project is already authorized and operational, supplying clean and renewable energy to Stellantis’ vehicle production plant. This marks a concrete step toward the industrial complex’s energy autonomy.
The renewable energy generated by the Córdoba solar park is complemented by the supply from the 360Energy La Rioja Solar Complex under a “Mater” contract signed between both companies, enabling progress toward the goal of supplying the Córdoba Industrial Hub with 100% renewable energy.
This development is part of a joint US$100 million investment plan launched in 2024, aimed at driving sustainable energy solutions and reducing the carbon footprint of the automaker’s industrial operations.
With these initiatives, 360Energy and Stellantis reinforce their commitment to sustainability and the energy transition, in line with the Stellantis Group’s global goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2038, while continuing to strengthen the Córdoba Industrial Hub as a strategic pillar of its operations in the region.
“It is a source of pride for 360Energy to bring a new solar project into operation as part of the joint plan with Stellantis. In this context, we continue to implement our growth plan without interruption, both in the solar renewable energy supply segment and in cutting-edge storage solutions, with projects in Argentina and other Latin American countries. We are convinced that solar energy is and will remain the main driver of change, and our mission is to promote projects that reflect a strong commitment to transforming the energy matrix of the country and the region,” said Federico Sbarbi Osuna, CEO of 360Energy.
